Terms of Service & Privacy Notice

Effective date: September 2026

Web Hub is operated by Stephen Garrett (wgtngm), based in New Zealand. This notice explains how the service works, how your information is used, and your responsibilities when using it.

1. The Service and Membership

Web Hub lets you access supported Campaign Codex content outside Foundry Virtual Tabletop. Managing and syncing content requires an eligible Patreon membership. Anyone with a valid shared, read-only link can access the content made available through it without a membership.

2. Your Information and Privacy

Web Hub collects your Patreon user ID, name, email address, membership status, connection tokens, and the campaign content you choose to sync. It also keeps operational records such as storage usage, sync activity, and errors.

This information is used to sign you in, check your membership, host and sync your content, provide support, and keep the service running securely. A session cookie keeps you logged in. Web Hub does not receive your Patreon password or payment card details.

The application and database are hosted in Australia using Oracle infrastructure. Uploaded images may also be stored using Cloudflare. These providers process information as needed to provide their services, and some information may be processed outside New Zealand and Australia.

Account access controls protect your private content.

3. Web Hub Is Not a Backup

Web Hub is a sync service, not a permanent archive. Foundry remains the source of truth and permanent home for your campaign content.

You are responsible for syncing changes back to Foundry, checking that the sync succeeded, and maintaining your own backups. Changes made only in Web Hub may be permanently lost.

To the extent permitted by law, Stephen Garrett (wgtngm) accepts no liability for data loss, corruption, or unsynced changes. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

4. Your Content and Sharing

You retain all rights to your content. By syncing it, you give Web Hub permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the service.

You must have permission to upload and share your content. You must not use Web Hub to distribute unlawful material, infringe others’ rights, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.

Anyone with a valid sharing link can view the content and forward the link. Check the shared view before sharing it. Revoking a link cannot remove copies someone has already saved.

5. Images and Storage Limits

Uploaded images may be resized, compressed, or converted for display. Keep your original files: hosted images are not original-quality backups.

Hosted images count toward your storage allowance and follow the same deletion rules as your other content. Storage limits are listed in the documentation.

Externally linked images stay on their original host and do not count toward your storage allowance. They may stop working if the original host removes them or changes access. Loading them may also disclose a viewer’s IP address and request information to that host.

6. Membership Lapse and Deletion

After 30 consecutive days without an eligible Patreon membership, Web Hub may reclaim your storage by permanently deleting hosted worlds, journals, images, and associated data.

This period starts when your eligible membership ends, not when you request cancellation. It does not guarantee continued editing or syncing access, so sync your changes back to Foundry before your membership ends.

Renewing your membership does not restore content that has already been deleted.

The administrator may also suspend access or remove accounts, worlds, or content to address misuse, security issues, legal requirements, or your deletion request. Where reasonably practicable, notice will be given before removal.

7. Availability and Changes

Web Hub may experience outages, errors, or data loss. Features and storage limits may change.

Reasonable advance notice will be given for material changes to these terms, significant reductions to the service, or planned closure where practicable, so you can retain your content in Foundry.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Contact

You can ask for access to your personal information, request corrections, or request deletion of your account and associated content. I may need to verify your identity first.

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate the service or meet legal obligations. Deletion may not immediately remove copies from operational backups. Limited records may remain as needed for security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. The 30-day storage policy does not mean all account records are automatically deleted on day 30.

For support, privacy requests, account deletion, or content complaints, contact info@wgtngm.com.

If a privacy concern remains unresolved, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
